I just put these Jamberry nails on last night and I am so in love! They sparkle in the light so much. It’s possible I may need to get ALL the sparkly designs now lol.
So anyways, after my last entry I kept selling stuff around the house and I think I made $160 total! Add that to my new Jamberry income and there’s a whole pile of money that didn’t exist before. Nice! We get paid with a special card from Jamberry which you can transfer to your bank account or use as a debit card. I think I am just going to hoard the money on the card and not touch it unless I absolutely have to. Hoping to do that so I can use it for Christmas gifts :) Sorry I keep going on about Jamberry. I just feel so fortunate that I found a way to make money on the side which barely even seems like work. And which provides me with gorgeous nails lol.
My parents are coming to visit today! Hooray! This rarely happens lol. They have a meeting with someone about the condo they are buying here so they’re hanging with me and the kids during the day. They just got back from Cuba the lucky bums! It will be awesome to see them :)
We honestly haven’t been up to much lately. Miles has been sick with a bad cold for 2.5 weeks now so I haven’t met with friends or gone to any playcentres. Can’t wait for him to feel better, especially because he is crankier when he’s sick.
Cody started doing the cutest thing yesterday! Omg I died! He has this toy phone, so he’d press a button to make it ring and then walk around pretending to talk on it. He’ll be like “hi.....yeah. .....yeah.......ok! No.....no…snack snack.....ummm no......ok bubbye!” It totally cracks me up when he does it. He makes adorable facial expressions while he talks too, as if he’s actually talking to someone. What a kid! More words he’s saying lately are milk (mook), donut, pizza (pika), plane (pane), rain (wain) and yellow (yeyyow). Plus he repeats a lot he hears.
I am still having fun getting Miles to walk sometimes :) He still crawls a lot but now he will sometimes just randomly take off walking after holding onto the couch until he falls. His maximum is about 8 steps so far. And like most babies his age who are still learning about everything he is constantly getting into stuff. I really think 1 year olds are notorious for not listening because I will tell him not to do something and he will look at me and smile and just keep doing it. So I basically have to remove him from the situation. Lately he likes to play in the cat food and water, pull everything out of my kitchen drawers, get his grubby hands on our tv remote, cell phones, tablet. He will pull stuff out of the garbage, shake his bottles upside down spilling milk everywhere and do super fun things like putting food in his hair at meal times and constantly rolling or crawling away when I am trying to change his diaper. It’s a fun age! Lol
