James picked up Dante yesterday and my mom was being snappish about my poor choices of lunches, my husband told her that he’s seen what kids at daycare get packed and that I make one of the best lunches there and that there’s always a great combination of food and snacks. He always sticks up for me with my parents which is amazing.
This morning I went in to drop off Dante and talk to my mom and she was all sunshine and smiles… like yesterdays conflict didn’t even happen. She said she would sit with him and make sure that he ate all his food today and that he would need to eat his healthier stuff before moving onto his “junk” food. Which I understand there are some things that are considered junk food but our world chips are usually substituted with crackers, gummies are fruit leather or dehydrated fruit, and juice is usually a healtier veggie option or something with less sugar.
I just fail to understand >_< maybe my father spoke to her and told her she was wrong and to leave me to my own child. I dunno.
