I’m so glad it’s my weekend in 10 minutes. I’ve had a tiring week with the boys and could really use a full nights sleep. Miles was super cranky today and barely ate anything because of his cold. All he wants is milk and maybe one meal a day, although he will nibble a little bit at his other meals. It’s really frustrating to waste food when he’s sick. He will either whip the food or just cry in his high chair. He also tends to chuck his bottle or straw cup across the room these days when he’s done with it for some reason. And of course Cody thinks this is funny and has started doing this too.
Cody has been repeating an insane amount of words lately. It’s completely blowing me away. He will repeat stuff he hears me say or stuff from the TV. Today I said “go away” as a joke because he followed me when I was just doing something quickly and he told me to “go away” back lol. Then later he said “no thank you” which is funny cuz I always say that to Miles when he’s touching something he shouldn’t. Some words he’s saying sound like other words lately too which could sound bad if we were in public. Like “sock” and “puck” lol. He’s doing awesome with all these words! I practice counting to 10 with him sometimes one word at a time and the other day I heard him doing it on his own and couldn’t believe it! He’s like: ooone, two, free, fowa, fi, ix, evin, ayy, nigh, den! I’m so pleased :) I seriously need to get on the potty training next!!
I had to get a cavity filled today and was pretty nervous about it because I’ve only ever had one cavity ten years ago and they used gas, not a NEEDLE! Before I left I told Mike I was nervous and what does he say? Not “you’ll be fine” or “it’s ok” but “It’s gonna be awesome” Um whaaaat? Lol. Weirdo!! It was not a big deal at all in the end. My gum was so frozen I didn’t even feel a needle at all. I kept waiting for a pinch but none came. So then I sat back and listened with jealousy as the dentist spoke to the dental hygenist about different vacations she’d been on and in no time I was done. Unfortunately I have 2 more appointments. Darn cavities!
