just a little bit of a quick entry. i have recently recieved good news, well good news that i knew was coming. i am in the process of getting a job offer at the coal mine i work at for doing the job that i am doing right now. i asked for an update on how things were going about a week and half ago and my boss said he would check into it. yesterday morning as i was getting off of work me and my boss were shooting the shit and he said that they had some salary reviews to do that day and then my file would come up for review and then after that they would be able to make me an offer. so it should be coming in any time. and by that i mean with in the next couple of weeks. the wheels of a big corporation turn slowly.
my oldest son has what we have been calling a shark tooth coming in. his adult tooth is coming in over top of his baby tooth right in front and now when he smiles at you it looks like a sharks mouth. its kind of cute looking. however we will be having to take him into the dentist to get this taken care of. i know he will probably have to have braces later on in life so we would like to minimise the time he has to wear them. he was a little bit freaked out about the whole thing when i told him what would probably happen that day. my poor little guy.
in 7 days will be officialy be a black hat at the mine i work at. that means a new hard hat that i will have to decorate again, lol, as well as a 3$ raise in pay. man i cant wait. though as soon as that raise go’s through i should be getting getting an even bigger raise with benifits and a while bunch of other perks. i so cant wait.
the first week of October is really gonna suck, though i kind of brought it on myself. i will be covering for one of my co-workers so he can go hunting for the entire month. that first week will be working 8 12 hours shifts in a row, all at night. BOOOOOO. lol. oh well i guess i shouldn’t complain. it will be a very very good check and soon after that i will have turn to go and chase an elk down as well.
well its that time of morning. i should get all my paperwork taken care of and get home so i can get to bed.
** just got a call from my boss as i was finishing this up and HE HAS MY JOB OFFER!!!!! i will know all the details later this morning!!!!
