I thought this would make a nice train photo… captured it this afternoon and posted it to Trainorders.com For those unfamiliar with railroading, the Geometry car is the last car on this 3-car consist (Locomotive, passenger car, geometry car). The Geometry car inspects the tracks for hairline cracks, unevenness of the rail and ballast, and any signs that the track might fail in the foreseeable future.

Just having a good day and enjoying the train traffic below.

Actually, it's all Mage's fault!! LOL She kept at me to check out Boxcar Bob's ProseBox page so I did and happened to look at the most recent posts and there was Oulin! I wrote to her and she asked me to please crosspost because she'd found about 50 ODer's here on (as she calls it) PB. So, here I am! I haven't got Prosebox figured out quite yet -- it's not wysiwyg, so photos are a bit tricky. And my 'write' page doesn't have any icons on it to guide me. Ah well, life is a learning process, isn't it?
Hugs,

great shot. a C44ac and the newer geo test car . This is past my time on the rails, but BNSF has about 4 running the system. When I dealt power, these guys were a pain in the ass. Important yes, but they thought they were royalty.. It always worked out. I ran a few in engine service ...I hated these things, but is what it is
