Stuff in All kinds of nonsense spewing forth

Princess has come home battered and bruised this week. One of her students got upset when she asked him to put his binder in his locker, grabbed her arm, near her wrist and almost pulled her to the ground. She has 4 perfectly shaped fingerprint bruises on her arm....then, another student who is new to the school, pushed his desk across the room in anger and caught her in the knees....gorgeous bruises on both knee caps.

He then completely stripped naked and urinated all over the place!

She had called for behavioral backup and the aide in the room did get the other kids out of the room to keep them safe. When one of the kids are in panic mode, if the other students aren’t removed, it can cause their behavior to escalate.

A male teacher came into the room to help and they did end up calming him down and needed to take him into the shower room since he was a mess! The water, nice and warm, really helped calm him down.

As she is sharing this information with me, she is laughing and joking about it. She also showed a tremendous amount of compassion towards these kids.

She is certainly a wonderful special ed teacher!

I am so proud!

Hubby worked two overnight runs last week.....it was awesome! I love him to pieces, but between the CPAP machine leaking noise and his restlessness while sleeping, I am awake more than asleep when he is home!

I sprawled across our king size bed, had the windows wide open and kept the tv on all night.....bliss!

We will see what this week brings.
