Chance The Rapper/Crank Wednesday, May 01, 2013

Well Its May. Sometimes I get overly sentimental at the beginning of every month. Even if I live till I am 72 that means I only lived through 72 Mays.

I know what I mean.

Anyways three of my books came in the mail yesterday. The Crank Trilogy by Ellen Hopkins. Its pretty interesting so far. Its vaery different. One giant poem. A modern day epic. I use epic as a noun not neccesarily an adjective. It reads easily and I am deep into before I know It.

I downloaded a mixtape by Chance the Rapper online called "Acid Rap". He's pretty good. Found out about him through Childish Gambino. If you know me you know that Childish Gambino is my favorite rapper so If Bino digs a rapper of course I am gonna check him out. I was pleasently surprised. Its playing In the background right now as I write this. 'Acid Rain' is my favorite track off the mixtape so far.

So, lately I have been:

Working.

Writing. (On here and on figment a bit.)

Reading.

Music listening.

TV watching.

Internet surfing.

With some other stuff in between but thats the gist of my life lately. Sometimes I feel sad that my life has been boring BUT you could also look at it as relaxed. I got my family around me (even if they are annoying as shit at times) and I love reading and writing etc.

Sometimes I want more for my life. Again, I blame my mother for teaching me to have goals and ambitions and to want more in life.

Damn her.

I think I am bi-polar. I will google the signs/symptoms.

I have a list In my head of goals have. maybe I should write them down somewhere. Maybe I will make a seperate entry of a list.

NBA player Jason Collins came out of the closet the other day. I think thats a really good, strong step for society.

I think thats it for now. As I always say If I kept writing everything on my mind I would write for hours.

Probably gonna read, surf online and sleep. Maybe write later who knows.

Work tomorrow. 4-11. Yay.
