I liked last week, having Mondays off is the way to go. 4 day work week sounds so much better than a 5 day work week. I’m throwing in the towel at my current job and working on my resume. I have a few leads out in Dallas and I feel pretty good about that. I’m practically brokering off-spec chemicals here and the market is shitty. It’s my dad’s company and it’s terribly boring and difficult to finalize on sales. My base is a joke (HEY, come on, DAD, help a daughter out!) and it’s time to move on. Wish me luck on that!
I live in Fort Worth until Feb and that’s a good 45-1 hour drive to Dallas buuut luckily for me, Danny lives in Dallas in a 2 bed 1.5 bath townhome alone in a sweet area so he has room for lil’ ole me when I don’t want to commute. For the first time EVER he’s coming to visit me on a work week. He hasn’t been to Fort Worth in weeks and last night he said “come snuggle” and I replied back with directions on how to get to my place “in case he forgot”. I’m such a child buuut it worked! Just gotta cook the kid some din.
Our Dave Matthews Band trip out to Washington was WONDERFUL! I’m so happy Danny had fun, my sister Jamie and I are pros with this trip and love it, Danny was a tossup. He’s sold to do it every year now so that’s awesome bc I refuse to stop traveling out there.
This was night one, I was an idiot and took 4 Aleves bc Bitch Aunt Flow decided to visit me on the drive out to the campsite. Long story short, I got hammmmered fast. If you can’t tell in this photo. Sunset before DMB came on,
Night 2 before our walk to the venue. This was the view from our campsite. Such happiness that day! We had a blast hanging with our Canadian neighbors all day. Lots of Fireball was involved. No Aleve though so I was in the clear!
Despite the views, Danny thinks this was the best photo that was taken all weekend. He’s such a loser. That’s his Canadian cigar… He was very proud of this shot. Check out that sweet flask!!! Thanks, Canadians!
I took so many pictures this trip but it takes too long to get them loaded and you get the gist! We came back better than ever. Now he’s saying he needs to “save up to buy some hardware” aka a diamond… We’ll see. I’m honestly in no rush, I just want to be together.
We ran into the guy I didn’t want to run into (last entry). Danny would have had no idea but I am crazy awkward and stopped in my tracks. He saw me, I saw him, my heart dropped, I miss being his friend, like a lot. Things just got complicated… Danny knew immediately it was him and got pissy for a few seconds. “I want to kill him, I want him to give me a reason!!!” little did Danny know, the guy called me 4 times after that. Kept texting me too “you walked right by me!” “your hair looks so good” “i winked at you” “come back and say hi”. Ugggh my heart got so heavy. It’s just best I try and leave that alone. He texted me last week “I’m happy for you but even more for him, you’re such a catch. He should feel lucky he got you back”. He always said the right things. Stupid of me to ever act on that in the first place, it’s my own fault we’ll never be friends. Maybe I’ll elaborate on that more one day but, for now, theeee end.
