Saturday, I was sitting over at Starbucks sipping on a cup of coffee after I’d done my research. I started thinking about how strict I had my thoughts as they pertained to paying my debts back. This wasn’t all that I was thinking about. The two companies that hold my debts have very bad records as far as the Bbb is concerned. One has a multitude of complaints against it over the course of the last three years, and the other has had their license un-renewed to be considered a debt collection agency. So, on Sunday I will sit down with one of my friends and ask them what my course of action shall be going forward. I started thinking then about my mobile that had been accidentally run over the day before by my coworker. I got a new mobile with a case and everything. That sets me up for getting callbacks from potential employers when I start applying for second jobs.
Sunday,
I went to Church and heard a great sermon from a Guest Pastor. After the sermon, I went on down to the thrift store that I used to frequent when I lived there. I had four pair of work jeans that I’d needed to replace, because they are all torn up. Well (smile).... I found 5 pairs and two long sleeved shirts from the upcoming winter season and it all cost me $37. I couldn’t believe that I basically had a new wardrobe for so little, ha ha. Everything is so like brand new.
Monday,
I went and got my grocery shopping done, and had a nice leisurely lunch out. Then I went to the movie theater and watched this amazing drama/romantic movie called, The fault in our stars. That was an AMAZING movie, I loved it. It made me realize what Susan (my life wife went through), that I had no absolute idea of how that felt for her. After the movie however, I missed the last bus home. Well in all honesty, I didn’t miss it. I was running towards it and I was right at the rear wheels of the bus, and he saw me running but he took off anyway. It was 12:17 a.m. when I started walking home, I was home at 4:00 a.m. There isn’t anything that I am going to complain about there because it changes absolutely nothing.
Yesterday,
I started heading to the baseball game, and I made my way downtown and was really excited about going to Dunkin’ Donuts. That was my hangout back east and they finally have three in our state now. I got off the bus and walked over to it and I ordered a medium coffee, wheat bagel with veggie cream cheese and a blueberry cake donut. OH MY FREAKING GOD was it ever so good. I loved it!!!!! I bought an insulated mug and an oversized coffee cup, ha ha. Oh my goodness, I love me my dunkin donuts. It started in 1950 in Massachusetts. Boston strong baby, just saying. The game, we were down 6-0 to the Rockies (My San Francisco Giants), and then 7-1 in the fifth. Then Buster Posey strode to the plate and everything changed. We hung three runs on them in the sixth. 7-4 Rockies. You should have heard the Rockies fans talking smack. I sat there and didn’t say a word. I had my jersey and my hat on hoping for a comeback. It was 10-7 Giants at the end of the seventh. Baseballs were flying all over the place, their relief pitchers were like the rockies always are, ineffective ha ha. 12-7 winners we were. Great game, walked out with a smile on my face with my giants gear on, yes.. Got a ticket for the second to last home game of the season when the Padres come to town. I saw both Tim Linceum and Madison Bumgardner at batting practice, awesome.
Today,
I just bought a Red Sox jersey off of ebay for $32. Life is good. I’m going to have some lunch today and work on my writing. I am going to write somewhere between 1,000-1,200 words every time that I sit down and write. I have like eight goals for this month, one is which I have already accomplished. I’m focused.
Cheers,
Cbj
