Journaling prompt:
What inspires me? When have I experienced complete well-being, peace and joy? How can I experience it again? What is the North Star or guiding light of my life?
Your Star Spark:
Find the prettiest bowl in your cupboard, fill it with water, and place a flower or floating candle in it. Set it down on a table or dresser that is free of clutter. Sit in silence before it for ten minutes, noticing the beauty of the bowl, the water, the blossom, the flame. Let your heart be filled with gratitude.
I always feel inspired, loved and filled with peace when I’m in sacred space with my girls. Full moon rites are quickly becoming my absolute favorites.
I’m getting into the habit of practicing full moon rites on my own, in addition to when our coven meets. I had gotten a little complacent, a little lazy. It was too easy to say “Well, I kinda just want to watch TV…I’d rather go to bed…the baby wiped me out, I don’t want to…it’s fine, we just had our coven’s esbat the other night, I’m covered.”
NOPE. I need to be diligent. I need to be committed. So I’m making a change. And it feels awesome!
I have an antique blue crystal goblet that my great-aunt recently gave me. It has a very wide mouth, I believe it is intended as a candy dish, nut it’s way too pretty. I filled it with water and placed two floating candles in it. One blue, one green, both shaped liked flowers. It was beautiful, all flickering in the moonlight. :)
