As well as the lovely presents Paul also took me to Bruges for a weekend! I was very spoilt!
We left on Friday morning and stopped for a Mcdonalds breakfast on the way...
It was actually quite a stressful drive because the sat nav took us to the euro tunnel instead of the ferry so we had to queue up with the people actually waiting for the tunnel before we could turn round to go the right way! We only just got to the ferry just in time and we were one of the last cars on!
We had a little drink and a wander round the ferry...
And then drove from Calais to Bruges! We checked in to our hotel which was lovely, got changed and then went out to have a bit of an explore...
We got some delicious ice creams
and drank some beer
We walked to a restaurant we found on trip adviser called ribs n beer
On Saturday we did a canal boat tour, a brewery tour, had belgian waffles for lunch and went for a lovely chinese meal!
Apparently this is a famous dog!
On our last day we just had a chilled morning people watching and then headed home!
Snickers ice cream - soooo good!
It was an awesome weekend!!
