London swings……. in Travelogue

….like a pendulum do..
Haven’t seen any bobbies on bicycles but have asked directions from them a few times.
We have been in Uxbridge for a few days, leaving tomorrow for Paris.
It’s been raining so we decided not to go to Hampton Court palace today. Instead we looked around the town, T bought a few things and we had a nice lunch in Costa Coffee.
The visit to my bro in Chippenham was good, niece Claire and great niece Matilda were there. Matilda is planning her post grad trip and wants to include a visit to us in NZ.
T’s nephew Hansen was with us for a few days…we had a meal in Lambeth at Jollibee (Filipino fast food chain), and toured the Tower of London.
On Saturday we got tickets for Watford v Plymouth Argyle. Although there were no goals, the experience was great, and fantastic support for the Argyle.
So we’ve travelled on the tube a fair bit, a new experience for T as is everything in the UK.
Tomorrow we go to Paris….
