The Waiting Game in Ponderings of the Universe

So I had my PET Scan on Tuesday and will get my results tomorrow. I know it's such a short amount of time but it feels like this week is going by extremely slowly. I just want my results, I want them to be good, and then I get get back to having a normal life! ::twiddles thumbs::

I feel so restless. There are things I should be doing, like cleaning up some clutter, getting my desk ready for school, vacation planning, etc, but I feel like I can't do any of that until I know what's what tomorrow. It's like being in a weird, awkward state of limbo.

I am excited about vacation stuff. I had the dumb for several months and thought that my Acupuncture rotation was in September, but I actually looked and it starts at the end of October. D'oh! We had originally planned to get back home like a day before it started but that made me really uncomfortable. I haven't had any rotations and haven't completed the training for them (and won't until next semester), so I'm already kind of a nervous wreck about it. Add getting home right before it started, not allowing me to have adequate down time and prep time and it made for a kind of unpleasant situation. Luckily, I realized this before we booked anything, so we've moved our vacation to mid-September, which I'm much happier about. It means there's less of a chance of it being really cold when we do camping stuff and running into weird weather while on the road.
