Music and more positive things, I suppose... in Ups and Downs

I really am digging the output of The Melvins and Tomahawk (and just anything to do with Mike Patton really) these days. I just caught, by a chance, the one-time 7" Pressing of Tomahawk's M.E.A.T. single. Its only one pressing and I can only say that I am incredibly happy that I am ordering it in just a few minutes after I post this. Why not now? Well, blame mTurk (where I make money) for that. I also decided that I'm going to try and work more for what I want so that I can sort of break from my incredibly mental ruts. I think music really is the thing that helps me get through tougher times and its always sort of been my thing.

On another note, I'm looking forward to October because me and the wife are going out to see Bam Margera and The Melvins. Also, I'm looking to take her to see Alien Ant Farm. We are also going to make a day out of thrifting, which is a hobby of ours. See, we haven't been able to do much with all the commotion and that going on around here these days. However, things are looking better and we are going to get life back on track so that this little roller coasters bumps are a little more fun rather than terrible and horrible ruts. Anyhow, atop that I'm going to be getting some pedals and whatnot for my guitar - stock up on record needles and everything else I want under the sun too. Need to worry less and press on.
