I dropped a large spoon in front of the customer. She said oh it must be hot. I played it off. Sure. I didn’t want to tell her I go through phases of numbness on the left side of the body and nerve jolts that cause me to drop things due to a ministroke I had in August 2021. The cyst in my brain sometimes causes it and it’s embarrassing.. I see my neurologist next week to see what’s else is wrong. I am just frustrated my nerves are acting up today.

I had a coworker ages ago who had diabetic neuropathy in her fingers and toes, so they were largely numb. She'd just grab hot pans. I told her she was like Darkman, feeling no pain.
I hope the neurologist has some hopeful perspective.
