Wondering if I'm ever going to be able to stop nebulising twice a day... it's going on for a month now. I started at four times a day, then three, but the best I've been able to do is morning as soon as I get up, and in the evening before I go to bed. Even if I'm feeling okay at bedtime, if I DON'T nebulise during the evening, I'll be up at 3 or 4am to do it because I can't breathe... last night I nebulised at 8, and when I woke up at 7 this morning I REALLY needed it - I tried to hold out till 8 to make it 12 hours, but it felt like somebody was sitting on my chest, so I gave up at 7.30 and used it, then I went back to bed and watched So You Think You Can Dance.... I really think I need to see a pulmonologist because it's not 'go to the hospital' bad, but I don't seem to be improving. :(
PS. I'm starting to think that my 'improvement' in joint pain and stiffness was just due to the prednisone shot and the four days of pills I took rather than to some dietary miracle. I had a couple of weeks of not needing any pain pills, but I'm back to hurting a lot again... sigh. (but I did eat some soup with some potato in it the other night... and last night I made chicken parmesan casserole with tomato sauce... so nightshades are still a possibility. I don't mind giving up potatoes, and I almost never eat eggplant (John doesn't like it), and he's allergic to fresh peppers so we don't use them... but I HATE the thought of having to give up tomato as well!)
