My little baby is 1 today! It seems crazy to think that a year ago today I went into the hospital for my scheduled c section and in no time he was here. I can remember it all quite clearly. How surreal it all seemed, how it felt like forever before I was able to be back in my room and hold him after the procedure. It was so wonderful being able to snuggle him in the quiet hospital room, breastfeed him with no issues without any help at all and just stare at the miracle that is a brand new baby. I'm so glad I will (hopefully) experience that again in a couple of years. At age one Miles is probably 29 inches and 21.5lbs (on the small side for a boy), he claps, waves, dances, shakes his head no, crawls and cruises everywhere. He still cries a lot over little things but overall he is happy with his adorable 8 little teeth :)
My mom didn't want to sleep on the couch last night so she decided to sleep in the extra bed that we have in Miles' room. Bad idea apparently. She said he rolled around in his sleep so much, cried out, farted a lot and mumbled at times and she woke up so many times because of it lol. Who knew? I never hear much on the monitor. Tonight she said she's sleeping on the couch lol.
We are going to a baby meetup today with ladies that are on my facebook in a group who all had babies around when I had Miles. There's going to be 13 babies and we're going to do a giant cake smash with all of them. Can't wait!
