I guess it's been a while since I've written! Oops! My computer in my room is a PITA so I don't get on it much. Wedding plans are coming along very nicely! I'm up to date on everything! Hard to believe it's almost ONE MONTH AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!! Holy moly I'm gonna be a WIFE!!!!!!!!! T and I talk everyday. He had his eye surgery. They just drained the blood from behind his right eye (worst eye). When he'll be out here is up to him. I'm done asking. It does no good. It just hurts me when I ask so I'm done w/ that. With not having been here for um EVER, I should have more to write, but I don't. Oh, last night was my 20 yr reunion from High School. I didn't plan on going, but some friends encouraged me to go. My maid of honor was there and that helped because we mingled together! It was good seeing those who remembered me! I got a lot of hugs and "It's SO good to see you!!!" I, of course, replied with the same sentiment. :) I got there at 8 and I left at 10:30. When I got there, I had a sharp stabbing pain in the right side of my neck that eventually went to right by my temple. And then I started getting the burning in my lower abdomen so I gave a few more hugs and headed out the door. It was a fun evening catching up with those who paid me no mind in school. :) People do change...sadly I was just about the same...shy and quiet. But I did make some laugh and that helped! But that's me now! I like to make people laugh and smile!
We had our Summerfest this last weekend. I was the official parade photographer again. It was fun. Friday I called one of my friends from HS that I haven't seen or talked to in...yeah...20 years. But we just took off where we left it! She has two little girls now and is married to same guy she dated in HS. She had heard I was getting married from my brother. I guess she sees him a lot. She said she was going to be at the parade and I told her where I'd be. I set up my stuff at the booth I'd be shooting from and she came walking over. Had I been a runner, I would have run, but I walked fast with my arms open for a hug! It was SO good to see her! I met her youngest daughter and we chatted a bit and then she went back to her place and I got ready for the parade to start.
It was a shorter one than usual. Only 76 entries I believe. I'm not a lover of horses and there were a lot in the parade. A couple of them were dancing horses so when they came, I just shot away and I got a pic of a horse in mid air...all hooves off the ground! Awesome shot! The cheerleaders came by and they did a cheer and when they all jumped, I snapped and not one foot is on the ground! This one group of martial arts went by and I have a kid doing a kick with both feet off the ground. I love those shots!! I think my friend will be happy with them! :)
Today I stayed home from church. The whole neck problem that I had before the reunion were still alive and reminding me of the pain. I have a knot in my neck now and when I press on the whatever it is by my temple, I feel it in my fang tooth and then I taste metal in my mouth. No idea what THAT could be. I might call my Dr. tomorrow and see if I can get in. They don't like me to see my Chiro, but they don't give me anything to fix the problem. What am I supposed to do then? So we'll see.
Well, I guess I'll close up for now! I hope you've all been well! I'll try and do better! But with the wedding getting closer and closer, I can't promise! But I'll try! :)
