I don't really hate, I guess in Nerd Stuff... or geek stuff?

I grew up in a rather hateful family and I understand its not right to hate but I find myself flinging around the word without any thought. Thing is, I simply dislike some people. I don't like a certain family I've resided with too long, in fact, I'm not sure how anyone ever liked them. They are intent on living in filth and destroying everything. When something is broke, the parent can't take responsibility and I don't see that as right - they say 'No, its my kids fault, not mine' and sorry, if they are that young it is YOUR responsibility. You know, you spread your legs then have kids - they are your problem for the rest of your life. I used to think it was OK to help their parent out but I found I was just being used so she could do absolutely nothing and just go off and do whatever she wanted. I'm sorry, I'm not going to do that anymore. So, sorry if I throw around words like hate and whatnot but would it hurt it people showed some responsibility or spine in their actions?
