Long week in Im new

Had the son and wife here for 5 days.
Met them at the airport. Did a drive south along the coast, to Woolongong, along the Bridge that sits over the water. Then down to Berri, up via Kangaroo Valley for lunch. Then up a beautiful range to Moss Vale and onto Goulburn for night 1. We then drove along back roads to Yass, Young, Forbes and stayed at Parkes. On the last day we drove 50 km north from Parkes to a big closed Open Cut mine at Peak Hill, then back to the large Radio Telescope at Parkes (The Dish was filmed there). Finally back to Parkes where we visited the Elvis Museum. Funny that this small regional Australian country town has a fair dinkum Elvis Museum. Colonel Tom's hat and cane, lots of Elvis Belts and Costumes, stained handkerchiefs, his TV from Grace lands etc etc.
Then drove back to Here via Orange and Bathurst.
Nice to spend time with Family.

I had no idea there was an elvis museum in Australia. I wonder how that came about.
