I always thought that the only way to measure your importance is by the number of people around you. Today like many others before proved me WRONG! Not only did my mom come to help me with the set up of my very first event but so did my aunt and grandmother. Their had to be something in the air. For the first time in a long time I felt important. Not because of the many but because of the few. It’s strange how at times a room full of people can actually make you feel more alone. I have always been strong and I always did things on my own. It was nice to be able to put my guard down and have people show for support. You could see how proud they were of me and that made a world of difference in my book. Sometimes presence can be the best and only gift a person needs. For once I dont care how many followers, likes or friends I have. What matter now are the people who genuinely are there for me though the good and/or bad.
