We just passed the start of the New year in New Zealand.. Another month and we'll be planting seeds again and eagerly awaiting spring...meanwhile whats planted is growing slowly. Its a time when weather allows to prepare any vacant borders and do a general clean up of the garden .. Which is no trivial task I can tell you ....We had a very lazy year with the garden and other things happening. Our minds have been elsewhere ...
I thought I'd try and chronical this years efforts ... including costs and harvest weights etc ..... We are now a mature garden both vegetable and ornamental gardens and it would be good to see how economical we are ...or could be .....not that we grow vegetables to save money ..its more about knowing what we are eating and better tasting products ....
Picture isnt about the garden this time ... will get into that soon .. .This was of a farm dog on a farm we visited locally
