Can it finally be? The Jets may have secured Aaron Rodgers. We have not made the playoffs since 2010 and now could possibly be Super Bowl contenders. Now, in all honesty, I did not want AR12 on the squad. Skill aside, he has some irksome qualities. But, hey, I’ll take it.
Just waiting to see what Jet-like thing is going to happen. The pool is open and I’m taking bets (not really). Could it be a punch to the face over a $600 bet resulting in a broken jaw? That wouldn’t happen in the NFL. Oh, but it did to the Jets. Funnily, that was our only 10+ win since 2010… and no playoffs.
Here is my guess: Some bizarre NFL rule will prohibit this trade from going down. G is betting that AR12 does this whole crazy move and then suddenly retires. And yes, this is what it is like to be a Jet fan. Full disclosure: G is not a Jet fan, just a supporter because of me.
I’m a crappy team rooter. My other favorite team is the Ottawa Senators. That’s hockey for some of my readers who may be unfamiliar with the NHL. I can’t start on them yet because the total fiasco from 2017 to the present is a read in itself.
Food Time:
I roasted a chicken breast with a seasoned mayo smear on top. Put onion and garlic powder, pepper, truffle salt, and nutritional yeast in the mayo mix. I am lactose intolerant. And yes, I am aware my profile says I love cheese. I do love cheese, it just doesn’t love me. Good thing there are pills for that.
Tangent aside. Nutritional yeast kind of adds a cheesy, nutty flavor to things. It is vegan. It is not anything like yeast for bread. The mayo smear helps keep the breast moist throughout the cook. It is a small smear, not like globs or anything. I keep this little mayo mixture in the fridge. Ain’t bad on sandwiches or with chicken salad either. I roasted carrots with the breast. Um, yum.
May share more later. Got a late start on the day. 😘
