Soooo tired. in All kinds of nonsense spewing forth

I cannot seem to sleep without a lot of interruptions, therefore, I am feeling exhausted!

I'm taking melatonin every night and sure, it helps me to fall asleep, but it cannot seem to stay asleep.

Yes, there is a lot on my mind, and of course my mind races with these thoughts as soon as I close my eyes.

I was hoping to use this three day weekend to kind of get caught up on sleep but it didn't happen. I haven't had any down time this weekend at all.

Of course on Friday, we celebrated the Fourth of July with friends and ended up going to a racetrack for fireworks. They were by far the best fireworks I e ever seen.....and yesterday, after cleaning the house, princess and I ran a few errands and last night, hubby and I went to an un-wedding. Yup, an un-wedding....my friends daughter was getting married and six weeks before the wedding, she realized that the guy was a lunkhead so she broke the engagement. Since everything was mostly paid for the family decided to go thru with the reception, minus the wedding cake and just call it an un-wedding.

It was a blast. I saw so many old friends.....

Now, here it is, Sunday morning and I still have laundry to do as well as grocery shopping to do.

I'm too tired to even think.

Mom is going out of town on Wednesday so that means really long hours at work for two weeks....yikes!

On a positive note, (yes, there is one) I reconnected with a really old friend on Facebook and am having the best time catching up with her. We figured out that it has been 22 or 23 years since we have seen each other!

Well, sitting here and complaining about stuff is not getting the laundry done.....must run!
