Damian told me that he broke up with this girlfriend of nearly a year... I was crushed for him. I think I took it worse than he did. I want him to be happy, I want him to have what I have in life because he deserves it so much.
We went out for sushi the other day, his treat, and then the candystore. He asked me if it was alright to go fishing with James on Sunday, I told him that it was obviously... but that just to show where loyalty still lies. If I told him no he would have been fine with it...
It's nice to know that no matter what happens in this life that there will always be that one undying loyalty. It goes both ways, if he called me with a problem I would drop everything for him.
I've never had another friend (other than my husband... but he's my hubby and doesn't count) that I've had such a tight bond with. Yes, we were together for a while, but that was a long LONG time ago. We had our ups and downs... we did horrible things to one another, said horrible nasty things that we have said we wish we never did... but through all the mean things, tears, nastiness that was us years ago, we now have eachothers backs with everything.
It reminds me of that song by 3 doors down Kryptonite.
