i absolutley LOVE this show. this is my new favorite series on showtime. sadly boardwalk empire is in its last season and true blood but i am loving penny dreadful. it is scary, gothic, dark as hell but the story lines are so intriguing, surprising, and mysterious i cant help but watch it! its one of those shows you can not turn away from. of course i love the period the victorian period in london. i am not always into horror movies but this series WORKS! i taped a few shows while i was away and came back to watch them.
also loving that josh hartnett is in it. love him for going out of the box with his character selections.
eva green is scary as hell but completely believable in my opinion in whatever story or visions she sees or says.
all the actors are believable in their roles and play them so well.
even all of the other story lines, dorian gray,dr. frankenstein, mina from bramstokers dracula to van helsing all just blends together and works!
love love love it! have to wait until next season already because the 1st series ended.
