Great sex in Therapy

One of the dilemmas of a polyamorous relationship is who to spend vacation time with. For a long time, July 4th was a time that my wife and I would spend together at the beach. This year, Liz has suggested that we go away together, and I have decided I want to do that.

Instead of asking permission from my wife, I just came right out and told her that I would be taking a trip with Liz next weekend. I thought she would be disappointed, but she seemed fine with that. I'm glad that polyamory is working so well in our relationship and it isn't a constant point of disagreement and discomfort. I make no secret of the fact that Liz and I are genuinely in love with each other and we're not just casual fuck buddies.

Liz suggested a nudist resort for the long weekend. I have mixed feelings about this. I have no problem with being nude in general, but because I don't have a body that matches my gender, I'm a little uncomfortable with it. Liz reminded me that the hormones have caused me to grow a bit more body hair, and she says I look more masculine than I think. I still have fairly large breasts, but she argued that people will see me as a man with boobs. In the end, I agreed to go. Maybe being nude will give me more confidence in my appearance.

When I told my wife where we were going, she expressed disappointment because she had wanted to buy Liz more lingerie for the trip, but figured lingerie wouldn't be wanted at a nude resort. I told her to go ahead and buy it if she wanted to, because it would still be fun to put on lingerie when we have sex.

As soon as the words came out of my mouth, I felt awkward about talking openly with my wife about having sex with Liz. Not that she doesn't know we have sex, I just don't necessarily need to talk so plainly about it. Instead, her response was just about as perfect as I could have asked for. She said that was the whole point of her buying lingerie for Liz, she wanted it to be used for great sex.
