I have been MIA for a long ass time um I think it is the longest I have not written up in here. I have been writing OG using a pen & journal with pages oh my :)

There has been much going on in my life it was a shitty last end of 2022. I have been dealing with my chronic illness as best as I can with some days having me crying from my pain. I have not been going out all that much just not feeling being around people meh my social anxiety is a bitch.

Kiddo for Yule brought us tickets to go to The Miccosukee Indian Arts & Crafts Festival. They wanted us to go this year. I have allowed my disability to keep me away for too long meh then Covid hit. Meh now with that Omicron offshoot XBB this fucking bitch just keeps on a giving. Anyways we went the drive is a long one it was real nice just driving up there with kiddo on a beautiful day. I am not seeing all that much of them lately they have side gigs going on to help with money their disability isn’t much.

We had fun um next year we are going to have to do it differently for sure. We can try to stay at the Miccosukee Casino Resort maybe do a wee gambling. I would love to do at least two days next time. By the end of it both of us were in so much pain we both felt like death. I am thinking of getting a walker I was looking into getting one a few years back, but I fought the idea hard.

Where they have the festival wow they have changed so many things around. I started going to their festivals back in the 80’s with my friend Michelle (memories hit me hard as I stood there) then I took kiddo when they were um 7 or 8. Shit how time has kicked me in the arse I feel old lol I need to see if I have any old photos of when we went back then.

There is more concrete areas they had the walkways outside what I recall with gravel. I was happy to see that makes it easier for us to use our canes, or anyone using a walker/wheelchair. I will say they still need to improve some things for disabled people. I am glad it was outdoors oh and the fry bread & chili was freaking delicious. Just being there with kiddo was everything to me. I did not take many photos I just took a few I love the alligators & the turtle they have very cool.

I am dealing with brain fog as I am writing things out sigh it is frustrating AF.
