‘Avatar: The Way of Water’ Celebrates the New Year at Top 1 in Billie Lourd Celebrates Mother’s 6th Death Anniversary

The sequel to the highest-grossing movie ever is doing well for itself; Comscore estimates that it made $63 point 4 million over the weekend, bringing its domestic total to $421 point 5 million.
It is currently just $16 million away from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’s now eight-week total of $437.9 million.
The Way of Water grossed $957 million worldwide after becoming the second-highest international release since pandemic began and biggest international release of 2022, generating another $186.7 million.
Last Monday, Cameron’s blockbuster passed the $1 billion mark globally, bringing its current total to $1.38 billion.
