Cold in Im new

I have been back and forth over the last four weeks to Brisbane. Home three times. Some big highlights: 1. Daughter moved out of home into a shared house in South East Brisbane. Doing Uni and Dance full time. 2. Went to Mondo Rock (Aussie 80's Super Band) concert. 3. Attended a great 50th Birthday party. 4. Met some ppl who have turned into nice friends. 5. Been out to dinner about a zillion times. 6. Had 8 flights. 7. Slept well.
Now here for the next four weeks and its winter. Dark until 7.00 am and then dark again at 4.30 pm. Temps from 0 C at night to 10 C. Snow was predicted Yesterday down to 900 meters above sea level. We are just over 900 meters, but didn't eventuate. And for a boy who grew up in QLD (USA equivalent would be California) snow is still a big novelty.
So when it comes I will be out there throwing em.

man I wish our winter temps were the same, this past winter we saw -40 a couple of times,

I always get a little shocked when I read about your kids getting older. I was just like "hang on, She's only 13 isn't she". time flies by so fast. and it means I've been reading about your life for a really long time.

Sounds like a bit of an adventurous streak that was well-deserved! :) We went to the snow in Chile, it was sooooo much fun.
