I'm exhausted and my brain doesn't quite want to be functional, so I'm just going to post what I did on fb for now. I'll write a better, more thorough entry soon.
FB status: Good news! I got the results from yesterday's PET scan at today's oncology appointment and my doctor says that my scan shows no evidence of pathology and is supportive of a complete response to treatment! YAY!!!! This means that I'll finish the typical course of treatment for Hodgkin's lymphoma (only 3 more chemotherapy infusions!!!!!) to get rid of any remaining cancer cells that maybe be lurking about, have one more PET scan to make sure nothing wacky happens between now and the end of treatment and, after that, it's quarterly monitoring with CT scans. I am just so pleased and relieved by this news! Thank you all for your continued support and love. You're making this weird bump in the road so much easier to get through.
I also want to thank you all for how amazingly supportive and positive you've been about this. Every kind word gives me the warm fuzzies and makes me feel like I've got someone amazing fighting for me :) Thank you so much.
