My 80th birthday was more traumatic than any of the others. I think it was that since Fred was older than me and he had obviously survived those birthdays, I felt better about them... Happy birthday!

Hope it was a happy birthday. I'm guessing the "how did this happen" moment makes complete sense, because you really are still the same person you've always been without an age label at all. I'm hoping you have many more happy years to come!
