R and I went for a walk in our local country park this aft. We both think it’s so important to have time together away from the kids so we try to get out, in one way or another, every weekend.

We live about a mile away from a country park which has a lake that is about 2 miles around. That’s where we went

The bird feeding area. The birds weren’t in the mood for performing though 🐦

It started peeing down when we were halfway around the lake and it was lovely 😊

Last night Amba (one of the cats) was lying on my bed, right where I wanted to be. I asked her to move up so she did her look at me, I’m cute pose. Yes, she was still there in the morning 🤣🤣

As for sugar, I really wanted chocolate this morning so I made hot chocolate using mujer’s recipe: milk, cocoa powder and honey (I use honey because I don’t crave other sweets things afterwards). It was liscious and not too sweet 😊

What a lovely place to visit, I bet it's gorgeous in spring and summer too!

So honey is ok?

For me yes. The issue is with my sugar cravings and inability to have just one sugary item. Honey doesn’t have that effect so I eat it x

That is fair enough.

I wonder what it would look like if you tracked your blood sugar levels with honey and sugar.
