Being a mom to 4 children is exhausting. This week was flipping fun.
The boy (16)
Last week he got to school early as he always does; he is mostly responsible in this way. BUTTTT he chooses to leave so on life360 I get a notification that he left school. My brain goes to where the EFFF is he going??? It is just one tardy mom he tells me. Meanwhile his teen sisters are blowing my phone up asking me what the heck is going on… Turns out he has the hots for a girl (isn’t it always a girl??) she has a boyfriend… a boyfriend who isn’t very nice to her. So, my son is convinced he can become her knight in shining amour and go pick her up since she missed the bus. Which ok I might have agreed to but kid you gotta check with me… you are on our insurance you are supposed to be in school. Also, it isn’t going to work you are not going to be with this girl… but what the heck do I know about being a girl I am a 39-year-old mom who could not possibly know this.... I digress it becomes a giant mess because he lies to me and refuses to tell me who the hell he was picking up and lies to his sister (this girl’s friend and one thing you do not do is lie to liv) She knows it was her friend due to the life 360 location but neither of them will tell the truth not him or this girl. She has him drop her off behind the school. He still thinks he has a chance. Well liv tells her friend you better tell me cause my mom has a dash cam in the car and we can see you. Said girl child tells the boy there is a dash cam. He is blowing my phone up asking me if there is indeed a cam in his car and also goes to the parking lot to see. I think he must have done something sexual so I won’t admit about a cam either way I am letting the cards fall and telling him he best not lie to me. When he leaves the school to go look liv calls me and asks what he is doing now. To which I say he is checking the car for a dash cam.... lol she is like well it is DEFINATELY my friend cause I told her we would know by the dash cam.
Last night:
I got irritated because he set himself a haircut appointment so at the time, I called him and said are you going to the haircut? He said no because I spent my money (on absolute crap!!!) So I got irritated with him and said I was not paying it because I prepaid the last one, he chose not to go get. As someone who understands appointments that’s taking money away from this barber! So, I told him to take a break from his video games. When I got home, he was trying to go to sleep *at 5 pm. So, I said no sir you got to get up. It is your day to clean the kitchen and I will help you. He wanted to be an ASS and say it weren’t his kitchen day and he was not doing it. Anyway, we always eat together as a family at dinner he chose to stay in the living room with the new kitten. After dinner “P (the 6-year-old) went in to get the cat. He blocked her and put the kitten in the crate and blocked the door. Well Nat my 14-year-old decided she was going to open the door anyway. He body slammed her down. So, I told Nat that she could hit him since he got physical with her. To which this caused him to run outside and break shit in the yard. To which caused my husband to run outside. The boy starts screaming and cussing saying he was going to get his lick in one way or another.... to which of course now he is threatening a girl my husband gets angry and they exchange several curse words and he runs off barefooted and shirtless. Why is it like is?????? Could it be worse? Oh yes but it could also be a lot better. He did come in after sleeping in his car till 1am and is being somewhat better.
Liv (15 F)
This week’s drama with liv doesn’t compare to last month’s vaping and edible drama… But she has been hanging out with her bio dad’s (in jail) girlfriend and she doesn’t understand why I won’t let her stay with her 18-year-old daughter who lives at her girlfriend’s house overnight… I don’t even want to go into the why, but she has made questionable decisions lately ahem vaping and buying edible gummies… so no you won’t be doing that.
P (the six-year-old F)
From the 6-year-old in my back seat she pro claimed she told her teacher we have 3 rules at our house:
No Vaping
No Cussing
No spitting your food out....
Aren’t those lovely rules for your kindergartener to say to her teacher??? I mean they are current rules and honestly there is no telling what sort of thing her teacher will hear regarding our house this week. What are the next ones?? No taking photos of your penis and sending it out?? No shoving your sister? Who the eff knows. I do know that this mom is tired.
The middle girl:
No complaints this week other than her lack of motivation to get her chores done. As with most middles much less to discuss she is my shadow. I feel like most days she likes me more than the older two combined.
And last but not least the Husband:
Does all gaming husbands just game… like their whole damn life is escaping reality to his game??
