Yesterday was just a rough day, or at least the afternoon was, and I'm sorry if I came across as melodramatic. Today is much better. Actually I was very happy for this Monday to roll around, since we are leaving in TWO DAYS for Key West! I'm so pumped. I have so much left to do but I have plenty of time. Tonight I need to go grocery shopping for my sister while she pet sits for us, and I also need to pick up a few last minute items for our trip from the store. Tomorrow I need to get my nails done and then clean and pack. Wednesday I'll be sleeping all day so that I'll be well-rested for the second leg of the trip, which I will be driving.
I also bought a dress for the wedding, as I alluded to in yesterday's meltdown entry. It's royal blue, almost purple, with spaghetti straps. It looks like a maxi dress but it's not cotton. Of course I can't find a picture of it anywhere. The roomie got some linen pants and a short-sleeved white button up shirt, and I think his outfit is darling. He's going to look way better than me. Which is totally fine.
It's already 2:30 at work and I'm struggling to stay awake! Might as well crack open that one Diet Coke for the day. I've been doing really well about not having any at all, actually, so one today is probably alright.
