All my life, I have experienced tough love from my parents and I am not fan of it. I love my parents, they are great and can understand where they are coming from because this is how they were raised as well but I think its nice when someone tell you they love you and trust you no matter what. I get really awkward when someone compliment me, I have no idea how to react because growing up i never got one. I know my parents are proud of me, at least that is what they tell my relatives.
You are doing well in life and trying to reach your parents expectations and you also know they love you but how sure are you they will love you as much as they love you now and support you if you don’t achieve what they expected you to achieve. Maybe they will love you no matter who you are or what you become in life or maybe not you never know because they never tell you.
