Thanks for all the advice and kind words on my last entry about me watching the kids while working nights. I am most likely going to put them in daycare for 2 half days during which I will sleep obviously. The Friday Mike will be home at 11:30 and so he will watch the kids while I sleep about 4 hours and on the last day (I only work 4 days) I will just try to nap while they nap. That is totally do able. I hope I can get Miles to sleep in later by the time August gets here because lately he is up at 6:30. And somehow after going a month or more only waking up once for a feeding for the past week he has been waking up 3 or more times again. It might be because of tooth number eight which I discovered yesterday but omg sleep child! Lol. Oh and two half days for the kids for daycare will be between $60-80 a week which isn't too bad. My sanity is definitely worth that. The hard part will be getting them to enjoy daycare since both of them do not like being separated from me. Cody cried the whole hour he was in daycare when I took a baby and me class with Miles and just last night I handed Miles to my neighbor while I went in to cook for 10 minutes and he cried that whole 10 minutes. facepalm
And now for the surprising development. There is a huge field behind my townhouse which we have known since before we moved in (2 yrs ago) that they are building 2 seven level condos. Construction hasn't started yet so it's just a huge yucky lot full of weeds and various debris. Well my mom texted me yesterday to tell me that her and my dad are seriously considering buying a condo there. In fact they have an appointment to finalize the details this Sunday. Omg! Talk about blowing me away. I am soooo excited! This is even better than getting a house with them in an in law suite. They would move in next fall. I am so thrilled that they are going to be so close because my kids will have grandparents close by finally, I will have help with the kids and I love spending time with my mom. Yay! The hardest part will be waiting for next fall to get here lol. My mom said she was so happy she wanted to dance lol. It will be interesting watching the buildings gradually go up as much as I am dreading the noisy construction with kids who need to nap. The construction is supposed to start any day now apparently :) The only thing that sucks is that my parents go to Florida for the winters which would be the nicest time to have them nearby. Definitely better than nothing though. Yay! When I have another baby my mom will be so excited to be that close by. She is a baby freak :) Ahhhhh so excited! Can't wait to see them this Sunday!
