Friday will be (1)'s last day of Kindergarten. Wednesday they have a Kindergarten show case. They let you walk around the classroom and check out all their work and stuff. Then they play a DVD with "Kindergarten memories". They have an Morning one and an Afternoon one. Same thing but they have it twice so it can fit parents schedules. Hubby has a window and a door installation in the morning and then he told them not to give him anything until after 4pm so he can go to the afternoon one that just means he won't be home from work until 8 or 9 but he doesn't care as long as he makes it to (1)'s showcase.
Birdie is in Colorado until Wednesday and she won't even get off the plane at BWI until 4pm so I don't have to worry about her coming haha. Mom is sick so she might not be able to come. As long as Hubby and I can make it that's what's most important to (1).
This week they are having lots of picnic lunches and days to sign year books and all that fun Jazz. So this week won't really be "school" so that's pretty cool. I'm gonna make orange cup cakes with orange icing for the last day of school and when (1) gets off the bus we will celebrate his last day of Kindergarten with cup cakes! He will be an official 1st grader at 4pm on Friday!!! How fast time flies when you are a parent!
This weekend, Bro has his 3 and they will be here so I have a LONG weekend ahead of me :( I hope they are better this damn weekend. And Bro will be going NOWHERE at night! He doesn't work at the bar anymore and it's not his birthday so he sure as hell has no reason to go anywhere at night.
