i cannot believe i am 2 weeks away from my wedding! i am getting super excited and i feel ready to walk down that aisle. this past week has been full of wedding stuff.
thursday, dann and i had a day off together. it was the best day we've had together in a LONG time! we went to city hall and got our marriage license, then went to the mall to kay jewelers to pick out wedding bands. dann ended up getting white gold with black diamonds. it looks great on his finger. very classy! i got white gold with a small setting of diamonds. it matches my engagement ring very well. dann was worried about the cost, but we used the gift my grandfather gave us to put a downpayment on the rings. we'll pay off the rings by next year on our no interest payment plan :) we had a cinnabon, something we do once a year together, and starbucks (had to have my starbucks!). we went home and chilled and ended up making love on the couch. it was the best sex we've had in i dont even know how long. it was just amazing! then we decided to go see malifacent, which was pretty good. a different take on sleeping beauty, but i liked it. not a dull moment! i forget what we had for dinner, but it was a great day. we just had a great time hanging out. we dont get to do that very often because of our schedules, so it was nice to have that day together.
im getting a little sad about moving to this next chapter in my life. im happy to be getting married to such a wonderful man and really begin our lives together. but, theres apart of me that knows things will change. im a little sad about changing my last name. i cant really explain it. im one of those people who like to be apart of something. i like having that identity. its just going to be weird to be a gonzalez instead of a frament. i'll get used to it. my dad is getting all sentimental too and my mom has been a little weepy. its a happy/sad day. i cant explain it. i wish i could! i just feel sad and happy and anxious and excited all at once. life is going to change.
so excited for the party though! we are under budget and everything is falling into place. just waiting on tags for the gift bags and the programs to come in. i need to send the music list to the DJ and all our balances need to be paid. i need to give my father in law the balance for everything. apparently, my mother in law hasnt booked our honey moon yet (we are calling her tonight), but thats about all the things that need to be completed. not too bad! im just trying to relax, finish up school for the year, and be done with everything.
alright i gotta get ready for work. took up a weekend shift at gymboree! gotta make that extra money lol. later!
