June 7th. in June Writing Challenge

i had such a good day with my little buddy. first of all, we were out WAY past his bedtime last night at the super fun wine tasting thingie and he ended up going to sleep a full hour and half later than he normally does. but then, he slept longer than he EVER does (12.5 hours? whose kid is this?), which translated into an amost 10a wake-up, which is INSANE because I think the latest he's ever slept is 8a, and that was ONLY because we had a crazy night of wake-ups due to teething/sick/whathaveyou.

anyway, the thing was that our friends from MN were supposed to get here around 10:30p last night, but didn't really get here until 11:30p due to luggage snafus, so we didn't go to sleep until 12:30a or so. so even though he slept in, it actually didn't translate into that much more sleep for us because of our late night as well.

so really, it was kind of a wash, but it DID make the day go super fast and because he was so well-rested, he was such a gem today.

have i mentioned lately how in love with my little boy i am? because i am, in so much love with him.

it's late; 11:09p; and i'm exhausted. hopefully i will re-hash today's events & special memories tomorrow when i'm not so g.d. tired. tomorrow's planned events are as follows:

9a-10a: gym - need to log at least 4-5 miles per my training schedule (may or may not add sprints to keep it interesting) + foam-rolling, stretching, etc. and a quick coffee before i grab joaquin from the gym daycare

10:30a: "choo-choo" at the mall with joaquin; various whatevers to please his highness

11a-6p: various shenanigans, diaper changes, napping, eating, peeing, etc.

6p-7:30p: in-home massage + acupuncture

7:30p-8p: bath & bed time with joaquin

8p-9p: relax and write? until aaron's massage + acupuncture session is done

9p: wine + game of thrones (eep!)

10p: halt & catch fire? orphan black?

11p: SLEEP, again, repeat.
