Woot in My Life As A Momma

Hey guys! Check me out! More than one update in a two month period... hell what am I saying. More than one update in 6 months! Haha

This weekend turned out to be a pretty good one!

Friday (before memorial day) when Cody got off work we went over to Harbor Freight to get some stuff for him for him for work. Then headed over to Applebee's for a yummy dinner. Then we went came home and just hung out for the night.

On Saturday we went out and about! We headed to Hobby Lobby and Walmart and picked up more wedding stuff! Still very overwhelmed on this whole thing, but hey isnt that normal for a bride? Haha Later in Saturday night we took Nykaila over to her Grammy's house to visit for a while, while me and Cody went to see Blended. Great movie!!! The theater we went to was awesome! It had a full bar?? (We didnt take advantage of it but still interesting) and the seats were recliners! Sooo comfy! Didn't cost to much more than any other theater either! But at the same time, still a reason we don't go often.

On Sunday we headed over to my parents house for a BBQ with them and some friends. We had a great time! Nykaila was a hit with every one there! We had smoked BBQ ribs, corn on the cob, orange salad, and potato salad! It was good! Then we played Bocce Darts and after laying Nykaila down for bed we sat around a nice peaceful fire and enjoyed the rest of our night.

Memorial day itself turned out to be relaxing at home. We did a little bbq here with just the family. It turned out to be a nice little three day weekend for Cody.

Since then I have started my second term in college which is college mathematics, critical thinking, and medical terminology. Hoping for the best even know I don't seem to have a grasp on my math anymore and medical terminology is showing to be so much in just one week increments.

Other than that it's all just been wedding planning, school, doctors appointments, everyday life.

Yesterday we took Nykaila to see the ears nose and throat specialist. She seems to pass the hearing test okay other than the fact that she lost interest, but because of some issues with her ear drums of themselves they decided to go ahead and do tubes in her ears. Now just waiting to hear back on when they want to do it. I know they are common but as a mom I can't help but worry. I just hope that it helps my poor girl and her poor ears with all the inspections that she said in her short 16 month life.

Well that's all I can think about right now I have to start packing to go to the mountains for my best friend's wedding. I am so happy for him and his soon to be wife! This will be my third wedding this year and then finally it will be my own :-)
