What are the chances? in Daily life

Otis ended up at the vet yesterday. Saw that he hadn’t eaten much since myles went to the vet, even got him canned food and he didn’t eat that. Wasn’t too surprised since he is picky but then I saw him go into the litter box. I didn’t think it was cuz he couldn’t pee but rather that he could not poo. I had cleaned the box the day before and there were stools but now there were only clumps. Sure enough, took him to the vet and he was quite constipated. He is home now and I have to give him something twice a day forever. Myles also came home Wednesday, he ended up having to have surgery and the vet finding over 100 stone pieces in his bladder. He is on medication for a couple of days. Poor kitties. Otis is back to his usual getting into trouble mood, actually he never did stop, but myles is staying quite. Hopefully he will be his usual shy self in a couple of days.
