Its been awhile since I’ve done this whole journaling thing. Life has been chaotic as usual but feeling pretty good these days. I started running again, yay for self-care and I forgot how much I missed it. How much I missed me.
Speaking of getting back to me again, I’m doing a big thing today. In less than 2 hours I will be meeting with a detective to report my sexual abuse. Pretty terrified but also proud of myself for taking control of my story. It’s consumed me for so long and the thought of it being out there gives me some peace.
Here’s to some way overdue retribution and taking my life back.
