Am i using this right in Life

Honestly im not sure if im using this website right. I dont see any of my post on ghe recent entries and when i do look at the the stuff that i post the timing is off. I made a new entry a few minutes ago and it says it was posted a day ago. My first entry was posted a day ago but it says a few hours ago. This is confusing. Maybe i wont put a backdate. Maybe that will change things
