Endless circles in Just the ordinary things

I am getting terrible at staying updated here. There just isn't anything happening in my life right now. Well, annoyances with J not getting a vital house repair done -- the water softener needs to be replaced, and certain plumbing fixtures have shut down -- but I heard him making the appointment for the repairmen to come tomorrow and give an estimate of what needs to be done and how much. Thank god.

Aching lately. Hands and hips mostly, and so I am not getting much done around here. But I have been getting more of my old Epinions reviews shifted over to Bubblews, com, and hoping that I can start racking up a decent amount of money.

Mu is getting older and frailer. I am trying to decide if it is time to take him to the vet, but I dread what the news could be. And so I can't do it.

Been reading a lot lately. Best book recently is The Black Count by Tom Reiss, about the father of Alexandre Dumas pere. The story in it is incredible, but also true. Still working my way through Simon Schama's The Story of the Jews. As to fiction, there really isn't anything that has satisfied lately. Grumble.
