Rock of Ages in General

So on a beautiful Sunday I am sitting at my desk trying to get the last of this week's assignments finished. Or rather, trying to find the motivation.

I downloaded the APA format template from Microdick. Doc insists the term paper be submitted APA. Frickin' academics.

I have three MS Project modules to submit (one isn't due until next week, but once I get started and all...). And a case study. Color me bored. I have no idea where I got the motivation when I was working on my BS. Other than I wanted to fly, and that was the first step. Oh yeah, and I was in my twenties.

Earlier I was flipping through the channels when I came across "Rock of Ages"

Not being a big fan of musicals in general, and Broadway musicals in specific I had dismissed this movie.

They forgot to tell me about Julianne Hough. Jesus H. Christ.

photo jullianehough2.jpgMy God what an angel. I had to remind myself to breath.

I don't know how I missed her. But I don't watch DWTS.

Of course I hit "info" then "schedule" and found the next time it was playing and programmed the DVR to catch the whole thing. I'd watch the whole thing just for the scenes of her walking in the rain, or pole dancing.

Chocking things up to lessons learned too many times: I was shredding junk mail, basically anything that had my name and address on it. I don't have an industrial shredder, just an under the desk type. When it stops working it doesn't tell me it is full. It overfills. So when you take the top off, shredded paper goes everywhere.

Heh.

Twenty years ago I would have been throwing f-bombs for ten minutes.

Today I looked down. Frowned. And said "Well...poop!"

I am becoming my grandmother. Don't know how to explain the dirty old man part. Blame it on whatever testosterone I have left.
