Things that are over

It seemed like the culture wars of the late 80s, early 90s were intense….. eventually (soon) the conservatives will find out that this is just the “chaos”, it will be the “order” to come out of it that will be the real trial.

So many things ended but people don’t want to believe it.

Keeping all the law for righteousness/ forgiveness is over, Jesus said “It is finished”, yet the Judaizers want to keep it going.

Jerusalem on dirt (with Solomon’s temple) is over ala AD 70, yet Evangelical Christian Zionists want to worship the lucifer worshiping fake Israel.

Roman Empire is over, (so is Holy Roman Empire) yet Constantinian Christendom wants to proceed hard with war-and-killing Dominionism.

Worshipping in stone temples is over, yet Churchianity wants to continue going to State-sanctioned corporation buildings to worship, ignoring Jesus’ declaration about worshiping the Father neither in Jerusalem nor on your holy mountain.... but “in Spirit and in Truth”.

Flesh Israel (Judah/Israel) is over, yet folks want to focus on ethnic groups.

Being part of the Kingdom of OT Israel (as it was, with kings and all) is over, yet Christians want to be part of an earthly kingdom, and they still want men for kings over them.

Being a citizen of modern America or the ancient Roman Empire or the pagan or medieval Christian kingdoms of Europe, China, India, is over for those in Christ, yet they still want to hang on to patriotism as if this is ALL THERE IS and will EVER BE.

It’s like they don’t believe in “the kingdom of God is within you”, or eternal life, or the resurrection of the body, or all that God has planned for the “age to come” ie “that world”, Luke 20:35, when this age is over because someday soon it will be OVER.

They hang tightly to what is here, and what is now and what is visible
and and what can be sensed with 5 senses. Such as feeling their own skin or the dirt on the ground or the national flag or the gun in the hand.

They are not excited about these things I mentioned above, the better things God has for the saints NOW and in the age to come. Are you excited about these things my friends?
Are you excited that the things of old are over and now we have been given better things, by Christ and in Christ, for now and in the age to come?
