They're in, and they're not as complimentary as I kinda hoped, but let's be honest here - these reviews are almost all comparing the Vita version to the PC or Xbox 360 versions. That's not really fair. The Vita isn't as powerful as the PC or the Xbox 360. Of course they had to scale it back some. What these reviewers are almost universally missing is that it's a fucking incredible achievement to have any kind of Borderlands 2 running on a fucking handheld at all. I can fucking promise you that the 3DS won't have games like this.
Anyway, fuck reviews. I tend to use them as a rough guide only. The fact that three of my friends have this game on the Vita and all three tell me it's well worth the low price suggests more to me than a review ever could. And fuck Kotaku, anyway, those guys are fucking idiots. Fuck Gamefaqs' shitty user-base. And fuck IGN, while we're at it.
I'll buy it. I had Borderlands 2 on my 360 two years ago and I never got to play any of the DLC, and six (six) pieces of DLC come to the Vita with the game. Borderlands 2 in the park? Or on the bus? For £25? I think I'll take the odd framerate drop and lower textures for that, thanks muchly.
