Support System in Vastly Intricate.

This post kind of goes along with the one I made on finding your tribe (friends). You need someone (at least one person) in your life that will support you.

You need someone who will listen to you (truly listen because they care) and will HEAR you when they listen.

You need a support system.

You need someone who will be there with you to celebrate your accomplishments (even if it’s something as simple.. but profound.. as surviving another day).

You need someone who will be there in the hard times.. to wipe a tear from your eye. Sometimes, you need that person to just sit with you and hold you while you cry. Other times, you may just need their presence to comfort you.

Sometimes we have that support system within our own home. Other times, our home is the last place we find that support. It may be a family member, a friend, a therapist, a pastor, a teacher…

Whoever it may be.. find you a support system. If you don’t have one, I will be that person for you. If you need someone to celebrate your accomplishments, I will jump up and down and be excited with you. If you need someone to send up a prayer for you in the tough times, I will be there.
