Thanks to hyperfixation, I need an outlet to talk about exercise and food without annoying everyone in my circle.

So, here we are. I’ve had a rough year. I had knee surgery in January, PT for months, then a mystery abdominal illness that prevented me from eating and dropping weight like crazy, then one EGD/Colonoscopy/CT/ultrasound later discover my gallbladder was the culprit and needed to be removed. We also discovered a huge ovarian cyst that required multiple visits to the OB/GYN and two transvaginal ultrasounds (one of which gave me a gnarly UTI) to weigh removal, shrinking or hysterectomy. Thankfully we decided neither was necessary right now.

Now I’m gallbladder free. I’m able to eat and enjoy life again! I still sometimes get some tummy rumblies and nausea here and there, but no more pain!

I have hashimoto’s, issues with anxiety and depression. I have been struggling to get to my goal weight for the last 4 years. I’ve gotten very close…but never there. My weight goes up and down due to thyroid issues and now all of this health stuff.

Now that I’m more stable, I’m trying to pursue a more consistent regimen to take my life back and finally get to my goal weight.

Highest estimated weight: 235-240 lbs
Highest (scale) weight: 229.8 lbs

Weight loss began 01.22.2017 after diagnosed with Hashimoto’s in October of 2016.

Lowest weight: 156 lbs
Goal weight: 145 lbs
Current weight: 168 lbs

I weighed 161 lbs directly after gallbladder surgery, and I was in the low 180’s when all of this started going down.

I started a Beachbody subscription to start working out at home two weeks ago. I’m only now getting into it!

My husband and I have a trip planned to go to Florida (which brings me a whole new anxiety, since we planned this before the delta variant began ravaging the world), and I want to spend time outside, on the beach and in a bathing suit. Hoping to drop a few pounds and feel more comfortable in my skin! I’m not going to pretend that I’m going to lose a crazy amount in three weeks, but I’m hoping to build up my endurance and tighten up a bit at the very least.
